Mission Sunday

World Mission Sunday is the day we celebrate our beloved missionary priests and religious all over the world. And part of this celebration are envelopes given to different parishes, schools, and other religious organizations. We should help our brothers and sisters who are in mission so that they can do the best in preaching the good news of the Lord.

Think of this:

A military, who sacrifices their lives for the country, receives monthly pension when they retire. While a missionary, who sacrifices their lives for God, doesn't receive anything.

Just as I said, we should give what is due to them. Once we receive, we should give at least a part of it.

Saan Makikita ang mga Pera?

Ang mga PERA ay nag-uusap kung saan sila makikita.

1000: Makikita niyo ako sa mga mamahaling restaurants
500: Ako ay hindi nawawala sa mga Malls
200: Sa mga sinehan/teatro ako makikita
100: Nasa palengke naman ako
50: Sari-sari store ang aking tambayan
20: Lagi akong ibinabayad sa mga jeep/tricycle

Tahimik ang mga barya, kaya tinanong nila ito:
Saan ba kayo makikita?

Barya: Dun kami sa may buslo, may kumakanta ng Kunin mo O diyos at tanggapin mo.... at Manalangin tayo.

St. Luke

We can describe St. Luke in three ways;

1. St. Luke is a Doctor
2. St. Luke is an Apostle
3. St. Luke is a Writer

J-O-Y

While I was still in the seminary, we give recollections to students, parish organizations, etc. Most of our topic revolves around the word J-O-Y.

 J - Jesus
O - Others
Y - You

You cannot just simply focus on one or two, it should be complete. To achieve JOY, we should not forget Jesus, Others, and of course (You) Ourselves.
